Meet the Interns

Our 2025/26 Interns have written a short bio to introduce themselves:

3D Cultural Heritage

Adelaide Chan

I’m a third-year student in Cultural and Media Studies. I enjoy exploring different forms of art and digital technologies, particularly in content creation, editing, and 3D modelling. I’m passionate about how creative media and digital tools can together tell meaningful stories. Outside of my studies, I’m also interested in music and language learning. I’m very excited to be a part of DCCH and look forward to contributing to the creative projects!

Keira Summersgill

I am a second-year student studying English Literature with Creative Writing, and I have a background in filmmaking. I am interested in how meaning is construed through form, so I am delighted to be working with the DCCH team on adapting cultural collections items with digital tools. When I am not doing this, I am rereading The Trial, working on my own little projects, and trying to drag modernism into all of my essays.

Digital Community Heritage

Tula Bowes

I'm a third-year Global Creative Industries student with a particular interest in arts and heritage in the museum and gallery sector. My current passions lie in accessibility in the arts (in relation to early careers and audience engagement), political performance and design, the history of photography and press (including early uses of photomontage) and many, many more! In developing a digital project for the UNESCO heritage site Saltaire, I will be utilising digital methods to produce an informative and immersive resource to demonstrate the history, design and collections of Saltaire.

Isabelle Parker

I’m a fourth-year Arts, Humanities and Cultures student studying English and Sociology. I recently completed a year-long placement in Sustainability, Corporate Affairs and Communications, where I worked on Human Rights and Social Sustainability. I’m interested in sustainability, global development, literature and culture. Outside of my studies, I enjoy reading, writing and exploring new places.

Historical Mapping

Stella Burgon

I am a fourth year BA History student, having completed my year abroad at Leiden University in the Netherlands. My current specialization focuses on the intersection of theatre and race in the Harlem Renaissance, and I am excited to build upon my strengths through this project on mapping historical data. I enjoy attending weekly dance classes at the Edge and playing History Society netball every Friday.

Jeremy Nunn

I'm a second-year undergraduate student of History and French. My academic interests are encompassed by European social and political change since the 18th century, particularly industrialisation and associated urban development, and 20th-century politics. I spent much of my adolescence programming as a hobby, and I'm excited to apply my skills to a humanities research project. Outside of my studies, I'm interested in music, current affairs, and the environment.
