Applications open for DCCH Internships 2023-24
The DCCH is appointing 10 Student Interns to work on year-long projects in 2023-24. Applications are open to undergraduate students in Arts Humanities and Cultures (AHC) OR Engineering and Physical Sciences (EPS). Drawn from the art and humanities and data science/computing, successful applicants will work in matched pairs on one of 5 potential strands:
- Welcoming Migrants - a project being run by the Galleries team to open University collections to migrant communities.
- Special Collections project focussing on producing digital interpretations of collections through creative experimentation.
- Born in Bradford Digital Makers - working on the Digital Makers project to support schools in Bradford.
- Critical Themes in Data - applying digital methods in innovative ways to explore Library data.
- International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) project- supporting the Libraries’ implementation of the IIIF framework.
